4th & Whiskey

My cousin stated a podcast called '4th and Whiskey' and asked if I could create the logo he used. The basis of his podcast was to talk about various drinks he loved and Buffalo sports. He wanted to combine his love of whiskey and bourbon, the Bills and Sabres, and his alma mater West Virginia University.

I wanted to create an old fashioned logo that you would see on a nice bottle of whiskey, with art deco motifs. Combining that with the buffalo for the Bills and Sabres and the colors of WVU and the Sabres, I created this logo and he loved it. we chose the Marons font by Alit Designs because of its bold, script-like nature that captured the essence of old whiskey perfectly.
