Brookleynn Slavas Hair

Brooklynn is a dear friend of mine and asked if I could help redo her branding and contracts. After talking with her about colors, inspirations and what she needed, this is what we came up with.

She loves the soft, muted mauve tones that give off a relaxing vibe. We went with botanical details because it too is delicate and soft and works with the palette.

I chose the font "Oskar" by Paul van der Laan, which was inspired by early-twentieth-century Dutch lettering on walls and shopfronts (both painted and in metal). It has a clean design that lends itself to the clean work Brooke does, but has an expressive overall design.
